Spotlight: Christina Stephens
Women are usually spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping for stylish clothing. Unfortunately, this isn't the case for women with a disability.
When Jessie Sadler tried to find easy-to-wear, fashion-forward clothes for her mother who had damaged her elbows, she was incredibly underwhelmed. The only clothes on the market that catered to women with mobility issues were targeted at the aged care sector, and far from stylish.
So she set out to do one better.
In March 2020, Jessie launched Christina Stephens, an Australian inclusive brand designing adaptive clothing for the modern woman - one who has an eye for style and a desire for quality and versatility.
Each piece in the collection is made in Australia and thoughtfully designed to free women from ill-fitting fashion. Even better? Christina Stephens is committed to creating sustainable clothing and minimising the impact of the fashion industry on the environment.
At EveryHuman, we strive to bring the best adaptive fashion from around the globe to your doorstep. But we also want to champion the native Australians brands who are paving the way for a more inclusive future. By partnering with Christina Stephens, we hope to give every woman with a disability a choice in fashion so they feel empowered to express themselves.
